Brown, loose-textured growing medium
Based on their original distribution, evergreen plants grow best in acidic, lower pH media. That is why it is worth adding peat to the soil to achieve the appropriate pH.
For planting, prepare a hole (pot, planting container) suitable for the plant, fill it up to a third with potting soil, and then after placing the plant, fill it around with potting soil. Press it down, then water it thoroughly - preferably with rainwater - to maintain the soil pH value. After 3-6 weeks, you can start adding a nutrient solution appropriate to the plant type.
It doesn't matter what quality of potting soil you buy. Choose the tested quality!
